heads up

...to Jenn. Didja know? CHEMISTRY's One x One album wasn't produced by Matsuo "KC" Kiyoshi (who's also behind the likes of Ken Hirai, I've been told).

It's nothing, really. Maybe that's why it had a different vibe from the other two. More mellow, y'know. And, I think, less mass appeal. Nonetheless, I think it was a good piece of work from my two boys.<3

To-do list:
1. E-mail friends. I dunno, just to say hi.^_^
2. Change blog layout.
3. Figure out digicam and post pictures!

only one more to go

...and i'll be FREEEEEEEE. Only the Chem 17 finals stand in the way of me and my vacation.

Oh, and the money i have to raise for NSTP. But i digress.

Once again my sister has infected me with her love for cute, smooth-faced, angel-voiced boybands. Apart from w~inds., she has been going gaga over this new kpop boy group, TVXQ. She's been humming their song, "Hug", for days now. I thought it was typical pop fare, but now the song is growing on me. Uuugh.

While randomly flipping buttons on the remote while I was procrastinating, I came across a J-Dorama on NHK World, TeruTeru Family. Anyway, the episode I got to watch was pretty cute. Even though I couldn't understand what they were saying half the time because my Nihongo is...er...basic. So it was kind of based on context. Um, yeah.^^

Apparently, the story was: Two childhood friends work together in a bakeshop, and the (cute) guy fell in love with the girl. And his friend was advising him to go for it, I think. The girl likes him too, and prays at her mother's altar for guidance when HER MOTHER SPEAKS FROM THE PHOTOGRAPH! I don't know, that just cracked me up. xD They talk for a bit, with her mom kind of freaky, and basically she advises the girl to go for it(?). In the bakery, they (what else?) bake bread and the girl brings some of the freshly-baked bread to the neighbor/extended family (not sure which O_O) when she is summoned outside by a relative/friend/another neighbor (ditto).

Outside, there are dainty white lanterns hanging about, and a red carpet leading to the back of a truck. From there, the guy serenades her with "love me tender" in adorable engrish. Oh, and he was hanging from a crane being operated by his friend. (At this point, I went, "Awww...".) The crane lowers, he finishes the song, they hug. Later on they talk about...something...and they look at a magical cup which brings back memories of childhood, blah blah.

Read The Da Vinci Code!!! I have been sneaking peeks at it in between Chem review sessions. It's sucking me in.

And now, back to Chem.

splurge! whee!

Apart from cramming the Chem postlab (Durr, the answers were written on the board. Thank you God for uber-nice lab instructors. :D), having my brains fried by the heat, walking around in blissful wonder because my boring Chem lec prof was absent, and bemoaning the lack of jeeps due to the transport strike, Nin and I went to The Den of Sin, AKA SM North Edsa (in a taxi). Ostensibly to check if my copy of Furuba Vol. 1 was there already (It wasn't. Damn Comic Quest, I'll be taking my business to CCHQ. T_T). I ended up splurging on coffee and the LBD.

LBD = little black dress. A sound investment, I've been reassured. Ah well. I can feel all my girly hormones reacting. :D

"Ohmigod. This butt should be BANNED."
