The night celebrities followed me around

First it was Brent Javier (the Lee dude that Karel ends up with in the Pond's commercial), then Larry Fonacier (OK, not an artista but a celebrity of sorts nonetheless) and the Tyrone guy from SCQ (or Starstruck. Not so sure since I don't get to watch). Mina and I approached Brent's PA after ogling him for around 5 minutes. I went, "Excuse me, this is so totally jologs, but could we have a picture with him?" *points to Brent*. Well, he said later. Whatever, man. We had to go eat dinner. But according to Gaery, Brent is gay...and Gaery can't be wrong about these things, being a total pouf himself. Hmmm. So we ate at KFC Katips, where we saw these other minor celebrities.

UP Fair was fuuuuun! I FINALLY FINALLY got to see Sugarfree perform live.*dies* Just sitting on the grass amidst the used food containers, the smell of cigarette smoke and pot in the air, talking to an old high school pal, that was a great experience. Despite the aforementioned smoke and trash. And the Octopus --- yeah. I only wish I had more cash, since I mooched off so much from other people, due to the loss of my week's allowance in the boarding house.

May the hands of whoever stole my money rot and be fed upon by maggots, while hungry leeches attach themselves to her legs.

Oh, and the workshop thing. It wasn't bad. I didn't go home with the bruised ego I expected, but with a full tummy (thanks to my prof footing more than half the bill). A lesson I learned: NEVER EVER WRITE A NARRATIVE IN LESS THAN AN HOUR! Bow.

***

It's CCB's birthday tomorrow. Should I
a) text him
b) greet him personally (how that'll happen, I'm not sure)
c) totally forget avout him, since we barely have chemistry and I have my (emotional) hands full with ___ and possibly Mr. Sensitive (MS)?

And MS, a brand new headache/object of affection(?). Please tell me it was just the moment, that I got carried away by my hormones or something.

Elections, elections. Huh.

A feeling of dread

Summing up all the things which cause this in me --- (Yes I know, I'm whining again, but this is my blog and I exercise my right to be self-absorbed.) Actually that, plus some other random things.

> My Eng 1 workshop. Oh god. I know we are not being criticized as people, and that the work is a detached object, but in everything I write there's a little bit of me. And frankly, I don't respond well to criticism.

THERE IS NO WAY A NARRATIVE DONE IN LESS THAN AN HOUR CANNOT SUCK.

> My extracurriculars are eating me alive. That is to say, I've not been managing my time properly. I WILL NOT FAIL Chem 31. Willnotwillnotwillnot. But I have been having a hard time. Going home late after rehearsals, then waking up early for se-up, blahblahblah...which brings me to my next point:

> I am growing ugly. (And fat, but that's another story.) Eyebag + Zit City + Uuuugly Hair + A few pounds = Gnarly Pat. Good thing my self-esteem has risen a few notches over the past months, otherwise I may just melt because the earth couldn't take such a freak wandering on its surface.

> Valentine's Day. Blargh.

> Physics exam next Wednesday. Wave function = Huh.

> I should have listened to my mother when she said, "Take care of your knees."

> Am currently having a spur-of-the-moment overnight at someone's house. Yes I have no clothes or toiletries.

> Set out yesterday to watch A Very Long Engagement, ended up watching Phantom of the Opera. Why do these things happen? So now I have to write a reaction paper about a movie I've never seen. Thank God for film majors who explain things to me, even though that's actually plagiarizing since I am putting their thoughts/opinion into writing. Phantom not bad, actually. Musicals always work for me. Result: splurge buy of the OST. And endless singing of songs with lyrics I'm not sure of.:D

> Yay, Brat starting to look normal. She (It?) actually looks like a furry four-legged animal now, unlike before when she looked like the result of a genetic experiment cross-breeding a mouse and a very angry llama.

> Am dismayed at how easy it is to search for this blog on Google. Damn those internet enterpreneurs! Anyway, whatever.

> Hello, Menki.:)

Because bulleted entries are so organized.

> Had a gggreat time at Vilma's debut. Saw Ex-with-Waxed-Legs and CCB (Christ-centered Boy). Twas like a Pisay 03 reunion. Also ended the aloofness with *** and **. We were, after all, in complete attendance so it'd be a shame if I ruined the fun.:P And CCB brought us home! Whee. But. He (slow-)danced the night away with a certain someone. They're like the freaking Golden Christ-centered Couple (who will have the perfect 2.5 children, a Labrador and a house with a white picket fence). Oh and the food was great...I totally <3 the lumpia.

Shoulda said hi to Ex tho.

With the purty debutante. OMG WE'RE ALL HERE! (Uh, slightly blurred pic.)

So we don't look like we're from the 1920's. So we deviated from the theme of the party. So what. >)

Further proof of how decked-up we were that night. And Steph! Cleavage! :D

Aww. I missed these guys. We're all in the same school but we hardly get to see each other.

A highlight of the night. :3

> Ate at Chockiss with some grade school friends. Dug up a lot of memories. I almost wish we all went to the same high school, but I wouldn't trade my Pisay experience for the world. We have to do it again sometime.

> Neil Gaiman's coming here in December! Yay yay!

> Have a very busy month ahead. Will try and cope.
