the life of a teenage nothing

I only, officially, have 1 subject this summer. ES 21, Mathematical Methods in Engineering. It's not hard (ie on the same level as ES 11, 12 or 13). But I'm having a bit of a time keeping up. Plus the fact that the Parental Units expect me to get a 1.0 on this subject, "kasi yan lang naman tinatake mo". Hah. They don't know of my nice, shiny...never mind.

Anyway. I've discovered that I have this totally pointless fixation on knowing the names of these obscure TV movies, and the actors in them. It's like imdb.com is my favorite website now. I got to watch this TV movie on Hallmark about a high school where all the girls are sluts and all the guys are horny jocks, except for the guy played by Joe Dinicol, who is a sensitive, Rico Blanco-only-hotter-lookalike photographer. And then my Dad was watching Galaxy Quest on Studio23, and I could identify all the characters, like "Hey, there's Eli from Ed! Oh and it's Monk, Tony Shaloub!". Blahblahblah.

I've been devoting my summer to the pursuit of useless knowledge.

i'm a criminal!

Yep. Couldn't get my NBI clearance because I had, uh, a "hit". Must've been that time when I ran over that old lady...nah. Twas because of my (ex-)scholarship. Long, boring story. But I will get it by Friday next week and get cracking on that passport. On a side note, it was very nice how the men there operated the gigantic stamp pad thingies --- they just spread ink over it, grab your fingers, contort them into the different positions needed, and stamp them on the clearance form. I looked like an ex-con in the picture for the clearance. Same as everybody else (we're not supposed to smile), only with a disgustingly shiny forehead.

Summer really is here. There is no other way to explain why my shirt was sticking to my ewww sweaty armpits while I was doing all my errands for the documents I need. And the NBI Satellite Office --- man, what level of inferno was that? Anyway, am getting used to the whole bureaucratic red tape deal. Basically you fill out forms, pay, fall in line, stew in the heat. Simple, huh.

Watched Fall last night (or early AM today, to be exact) on Star Movies. I didn't get to finish it because Boss RR woke up and made me sleep. It was 3 AM after all. It was a gripping movie. (Ooh, cliche here.) I am beginning to dig romances with unhappy endings. Although the story has that element of unbelievability which just screams Hollywood -- taxi driver and famous supermodel fall in love -- it's littered with bits of poetry, and random great sex (for them), and character analysis...watch it if you can.

I will be changing the layout soon...promise. Will also be uploading all the pics I promised to various people. Ah, the life of a paparazzo. When will it be my turn to be photographed? Haha, only kidding.:)

So many outings...so few I can probably go to, unless I clone myself. Huhu.

This entry is kind of incoherent. I'm just reveling in my supposedly first day of summer vacation.

And, lastly...HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGEL! Splash won't be the same without your 'enlightening' (whee) presence.<333
