*looks sheepish*

I realize I have not updated in so long. Sorry about that. I'm surprisingly been sort of busy here. Not sports or anything (like that'd happen), but stuff to do. So...

1. Found out last week that Eye-candy #3 (18yo, cute!, taller than me, can speak English, does not look prettier than me [ie. metrosexual-ish]) has a girlfriend. So, NO.

2. Went to a party last Friday. Drank a little.

3. Went to Shimabara and Unzen last Saturday. Was prepared for extreme cold (the national park was on top of a mountain), but uh. Maybe I'm getting used to the cold here? Anyway, did not soak in a natural spa, but walked around Hell (Unzen Jigoku). On the way there, saw looots of rice fields. It would have been like any rural area in the Philippines if the houses didn't look so modern.

4. Went to a potluck party yesterday. Cooked bistek. Was not that bad, if a little salty (I remedied it with sugar).

5. Still extracurricular-less. No taiko club here.:( Maybe the rowing team? Anything to have something physical to do...

Random things.

Taiko Workshop was FUUUUN!:D Unfortunately we only get to meet maybe once a month, tops. That's cause the drums have to be brought from some far-off area. Anyway, I will post pictures as soon as I get them from Shah (whom I went with).

Sunday was a food-filled day. I was invited to have lunch by Tita Celia, a very nice Filipina professor here. It was good...spaghetti, pizza, mushroom soup, salad, fries... After Mass the norm here is to chitchat with each other over snacks, so...more food.xD I decided to burn some calories (to avoid descending further into porkiness) by walking all the way from Nagasaki Eki to home (around 2 km or more, maybe). I took a few pictures along the way, but nothing really special. Except this.

A Shell station in Nagasaki City. [Why would a run-of-the-mill gas station be significant? Um.]

Mahirap ang malayo. At yung wala naman talagang dapat asahan. Pero ika nga ng Blondie, I'm not the kind of girl who gives up just like that.:)

Engineering Week 2005: From miles away I can feel the KEM spirit. It's sad to think I won't be part of Engg Week this year, but as always, KEM Go FIGHT! :D

Anyway. The result was just sort of interesting. For me, anyway.

I've been just blog-hopping randomly, and read some entries about manual enlistment in UP. I sort of miss that kind of chaos and agony (but I'm pretty sure I'll be whining about it a year hence). Don't really have pictures to post since I forgot to bring my digicam and uploading thingies.-_-;

This is my bed. I know, it's a mess. I brought bedsheets from home, which was good since if I used the (ugly) bedsheets they provided, I had to pay extra. It looks kind of comfy, doesn't it? It's actually not. I liken it to a slab of rock. My friends' beds are the soft, fluffy kind.;_;

My ref. It makes weird noises at certain intervals. I have however gotten used to this, and now sleep soundly. The big pink paper taped to the door is a list of mailing addresses. The yellow ones are just random notes to self and a grocery list. Observe the plastic bags on top of the ref. Those are mostly snacks. Which is why I don't foresee a thinner me in the near future.

My desk, which isn't really very interesting. There's the certificate Lou and everyone else gave me.:DDD

This weekend I'll be going to a Taiko (Japanese drum) workshop with a couple of friends. Will miss the fire drill at the dorm, though. Not that THAT promises to be exciting.
