We've been on the run, driving in the sun

If you don't know what song that line came from [ie. you have been living under a rock for, I don't know, the past 3 years], you probably will not relate to this post. Also some spoilers ahead for those who do watch this show.

Just finished Season 1, maybe half of Season 2, and like 3 episodes of Season 3 --- the first ep, random ep in the middle, and the last ep. Heh. Well, the people here are complaining that I was hogging the TV, so I kind of fast-forwarded.:P I just found out that Season 4 doesn't get any better, because Marissa DIES before it even starts. Not that you know, it's a great loss, because Mischa Barton cannot act, but she was like an old, dilapidated pair of Chucks: rat-eaten, stinky, an eyesore, but somehow loved. So the loss of Marissa means Ryan + Taylor [excessively perky blonde]. Um. Right.

And Seth. My poor, dear Seth Ezekiel. Who got arrested for burning down his Dad's office during the end of Season 3. AND who's not going off to college. Definitely definitely a black mark against him. He is no longer the great love of my TV life, although I will always want him and Summer together. Although Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson have broken up.

Picked up some, well, stuff. Like in-between people. People who you have relationships with, but get you ready for the next person. Someone to ease the pain until The One, or at least a long-term fully functional relationship, comes along. People who don't mean as much as the people who do. [OK, that did not make much sense.] I think, even as you're in the relationship, being with this other person, you can tell whether he/she is an in-between person or not.
And maybe that's the thing with me. I can't be with an in-between person because I'm not in-between person. I can't be, and I don't want to be.

Vay-cay-shun

Engineering Week 2006 is finally over. We didn't get EWOC, but I'm not bitter.:) We were great this Engg Week. Congratulations to everyone! Go KEMers! :D

BTW, we nabbed 1st in cheering. C'mon! Despite the fact that my uncoordinated retarded non-dancing self was part of the squad...Hehe. It was a great experience, but never again. There are more talented and worthy cheerbelles out there.

Pautakan was also 1st.:) They came up with some pretty tough questions this year, like who is the Visayan goddess of blahblahblah. A lot of them were okay though. Smokers' was 3rd, 2nd if not for some issues with the time. I wanna be part of the staff and cast again next year.:D Awitan was marred with a 2-hour delay because of the lack of electricity in the UP Theater and the presence of a semi-unwanted guest who spends more time in the CR than I do...but I digress. The hosts were funny, and it went smoothly after that.
Indakan was 1st for the 7th year! Hall of Fame na ito. From the scores, you could really say that the Troupers are far above the orgs they're competing with.:P And the emcee had no skill for suspense so there was no pahiya/assuming moment ala IE Club sa cheering ("none other than..."). Hehe. Maskipaps and Ms. Engg also went fairly well. All-out support for Nin and Mon, very hot Egyptian deities, and to the group models as well. Props to Eds for Miss Engg!:) Post-EW party was also OK despite lack of space. Love ginpom but hate intervals of unremembered stupidity. Will never drink again.

Am beginning to realize the state I left my acads in: havoc. And I don't have a GE to help in damage control.

Mommy's coming home on the 20th! Whee. Also Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah The Movie on Christmas Day. Anyone wanna watch this with me?:)

Christmas Wishlist:

1. Cute underwear
2. Makeup [blush-on, eyeshadow, lip color...]
3. New phone [asa pa :L]
4. Complete Prison Break DVDs
5. Highlights [To be funded by mother. Hahaha.]
6. His Dark Materials Trilogy
7. Borly :(
