D R O P
So there. Am dropping onse officially tomorrow. Have never dropped a subject before, because a) there was never any need and b) I never was the give-up-easily type [my deep and long-standing thing for ... should be some sort of proof]. This time, I'd rather cut my losses and fight another day (summer, ugh).
Have been having !fun! for the past couple of days, barring the 122 takehome exam hovering like a cloud (Clown!) over my head. Last night increased my "alcohol content" with some very dear friends, and also released methane (XD) from shock of seeing Heather Graham's bare boob in Killing Me Softly. (Jerome has threatened me that he will never let me forget this.)
Today was also a great, if academically counter-productive day. Lunched with Paula, whom we haven't talked to in ages, then watched Music and Lyrics. Hmm. Typical rom-com fare, nothing life-changing. Hugh Grant still has this whole nonchalant adorable British thing down pat. He should consider other genres. Like thrillers, or hard drama. If he pulls it off, I'd say he's brilliant.
If I have learned anything from this movie, apart from one should always look cute and appealing even if one is haunted by some emotional ghost, and the lesson that killing other's people's plants can help you get a love life, it's that I am a lyricist! A lyricist, I tell you.

I wish you believed in yourself more. So many people do. And if you don't think you can manage it, that's like sealing your fate and saying that you CAN'T. :(
