If anything can go wrong, it will.
If I learned anything from this enlistment [which isn't even officially over yet because I still have to go to post-advising, and pay, and all that] it would be that Murphy's Law holds true. Things never go exactly as planned. I do have 18 units now, but I am far from feeling relieved about this. Except for the "Whoo I got ES 11 during the random drawing of IDs!" part. I also took 122, partly because I didn't want to pre-rog anything [lazy], and partly because I wanted to not be delayed in the 12x track.
So I have a less-than-perfect schedule. But it will do.
MTh:
730 - 830 ES 11 lec
10 - 1130 ChE 197 (Product Design)
1 - 230 ChE 197 (Polymers)
TF:
10 - 1130 ChE 132
W:
1 - 4 ES 11 lab
Sat (!!!):
830 - 1130 ChE 122
I feel like I'mpretending to be a hardcore Engg student. The fact that I AM delayed is starting to sink in. Don't get me wrong though, I don't regret my year in Japan. :)

Jack Johnson put it best in his song Sitting, Waiting, Wishing:
Well I was sitting, waiting, wishing
You believed in superstitions
Then maybe you'd see the signs
The Lord knows that this world is cruel
I ain't the Lord, no I'm just a fool
Learning lovin' somebody don't make them love you
So I have a less-than-perfect schedule. But it will do.
